We are extending our site closure to the 27th April, when we intend for a very limited number of our manufacturing team to return on site. This time will allow us to ensure that our strict Safe Working practices are fully tested, embedded and robust. With staff training days completed ahead of time, to guarantee that everyone will be able to follow our new procedures when we restart.
There will be restrictions on the number of people in any one working area. Maintaining a distance of an absolute minimum of 2 meters, for everyone at all times. Clear segregation between work areas and minimal movement around the site, using single direction walkways and with limits on the use of facilities. Comprehensive cleaning routines and equipment provided, with shared touch points eliminated wherever possible.
The decision to delay and reopen in a very controlled way has been made after careful review of the government guidelines and with the upmost the consideration for the health, safety and well-being of our staff. All members of staff will be returning on a purely voluntary basis and we will remain operating only as long as we all consider it completely safe to do so.
