Congratulations to Hannah Balshaw from Nottingham Trent University for creating the 2021 winning design which is included in our Spring / Summer 23 Apparel Collection. The brief was to create a classic Menswear design with an interesting twist using silk shades dyed in-house at the mill in Sudbury.
Hannah’s original design & visualisation – a classic spot. Hannah developed a variation on this classic by introducing patterns within pattern, enhancing the design and creating depth in colour. We found the tonal variation and detail particularly interesting – it translated beautifully into a jacquard design
